Salvatore Mauro is a prize-winning artist who was born in Syracuse and resides in Italy. His works have been widely exhibited on a national level, as well as in the United Kingdom. Mauro's art opens in two directions, the first being a more performative based expression, where the central element is the interaction with the viewer where he himself becomes the protagonist. The other involves sculptural elements, which he calls"lightboxes and constellations", which are born to last over time.
