About this artwork
This painting is the one exception in the series in that it's a male portrait. It's also taken from a police mugshot. Within this series it was interesting to me to see the different posturing of men and women to the anonymity of the police camera.

Sam Morrow is an experienced painter from the United States whose work has been featured in solo and group shows internationally. Growing up in an artistic family, Morrow developed his current style investigating the virtual world and the dehumanizing of the individual via the internet. Working exclusively in oil paints, he creates figurative work, close up portraits, and landscapes that explore unconventional subject matter.
