About this artwork
Some pictures seem incomplete or even incomplete. They are like memories, or desires that fade over time. They give us space to fill these gaps with our own wishes, memories and ideas.
This creates snapshots, snapshots - experienced from a distance and reproduced fleetingly. These also reflect the formal indeterminability in terms of content:… the actions, relationships, motivations or intentions of the people depicted are not shown. There remain ambiguous, undefinable situations that at the same time seem strangely familiar to us. Something mysterious is kept in the paintings.

« I am interested in the light. A light that brightens less than veils it and gives my pictures an indefinable quality. The space thus created offers each viewer the opportunity for their own associations. »
