About this artwork
In this painting, I've explored human figures' surreal and symbolic interactions within a vivid, almost otherworldly forest. Using acrylic and oil enhances the ethereal quality of the light filtering through the trees, symbolizing illumination and clarity amidst uncertainty. Each figure stands distinctly, representing stages of self-awareness and reflection. This artwork aims to infuse a mystical yet comforting energy into any home, inviting viewers…
to contemplate their paths through life's metaphorical forests.
A young girl in the forest discovers her talents and abilities but faces challenges that test her resilience. Through her struggles, she finds inner strength and wisdom, integrating her dark and light aspects. In old age, she achieves inner peace and a sense of wholeness, having completed the soul's journey. Is this wishful thinking?
