The painting is a premier coup done from real life (in one shot), no photographs or modern technology was used to produce this painting, I use the highest quality oil paints so that the painting will survive for centuries.
I painted this scene in a lavender field near a town called Sault in France.
It is painted on wood.
I am fascinated by sun light and I try to capture it in paint. Light is as important for a painting as sound is for music.
