In this acrylic on canvas, I revisit Charlie Chaplin through my Pop Art universe: a vibrant tribute where the silent film icon is reborn in vibrant color. Abandoning black and white, I work with a limited palette of seven hues—dominated by deep, luminous blues—to transform his legendary silence into a colorful cry of joy.
Between geometric blocks, pointillism, and Memphis-inspired patterns, Chaplin becomes… a joyful, graphic, and timeless character. A symbol of universal laughter, he spans the ages—from silent cinema to current pop culture—in a portrait that is both bold and luminous.
