Sandeep Dhopate is a photographer based in India whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in China, Ethiopia, the United Kingdom, and France. He describes his art as the exploration of the intersections between religion, spirituality, and sexuality. Through his pieces, Dhopate often questions our current moral value system. In addition, he employs color and symbolism inspired by historical texts to further his narratives by creating tension between the real and fictional.
