About this artwork
This work is a visceral journey through color and form, where the expressive use of acrylic and oil pastel creates a dynamic dialogue that challenges convention. Inspired by primitivism and abstractionism, each brushstroke and stroke reflects an introspective search for raw emotions and beauty in simplicity. I share this to evoke a sense of energy and fervor in your home, inviting the viewer on their own personal journey of spirit.

« I try to create a sensory, dreamlike experience in the viewer, a reflection about the cruelty to which we subject others. »
Sandra Botner is an award-winning Argentinian artist whose paintings have been featured in several solo exhibitions nationally. The discrimination within species is a recurring theme in her work, as animals that are classified as edible (cows, pigs, chickens, or fish) are viewed by society as being "without entity", which she believes naturalizes cruelty to the extreme. Botner's artistic expression is spontaneous and translated through visceral gestures. She immerses herself in the chaos that spots, splashes and drips propose.
