About this artwork
In my work, I have poured out my most emotional self, using a fusion of acrylic and oil pastel that come to life in a vibrant dance of colors and textures. It is an expression of our internal landscapes, reflecting the intensity of our battles and joys. Each brush stroke and stain is a passage to raw emotions, a cry of passion and energy that will undoubtedly fill any home space with an atmosphere of audacity and expressiveness.

« I try to create a sensory, dreamlike experience in the viewer, a reflection about the cruelty to which we subject others. »
Sandra Botner is an award-winning Argentinian artist whose paintings have been featured in several solo exhibitions nationally. The discrimination within species is a recurring theme in her work, as animals that are classified as edible (cows, pigs, chickens, or fish) are viewed by society as being "without entity", which she believes naturalizes cruelty to the extreme. Botner's artistic expression is spontaneous and translated through visceral gestures. She immerses herself in the chaos that spots, splashes and drips propose.
