About this artwork
This work is an explosion of pure emotion. Using watercolor and oil pastel, I have unleashed a dance of colors and shapes that evoke a deep sense of passion and dynamism. Each brushstroke is an expression of my inner world, seeking to connect with the viewer intuitively. I feel that this painting vibrates with life, and will fill any space with a vibrant and stimulating energy.

Sandra Botner is an award-winning Argentinian artist whose paintings have been featured in several solo exhibitions nationally. The discrimination within species is a recurring theme in her work, as animals that are classified as edible (cows, pigs, chickens, or fish) are viewed by society as being "without entity", which she believes naturalizes cruelty to the extreme. Botner's artistic expression is spontaneous and translated through visceral gestures. She immerses herself in the chaos that spots, splashes and drips propose.
