About this artwork
Deep red lines of fate meander from the top of the picture in the center of the work.
One could also say that they are in the midst of life.
From all around, other smaller and larger, curled and rippled lines in shades of yellow and gold come and take their allotted place.
There is something cleansing and calming about the white in the background.
At first glance, the work shines friendly and lively, which is reinforced by the multiple layers… and different structures.
The many lines and shapes stand for the fate that is predetermined for every human being by higher powers and can therefore be drawn by coincidences and not influenced by humans themselves.
Kismet is intended to give the viewer a glimpse into the confused, yet beautiful and multi-layered world in which one cannot gain clarity despite constant analysis.
