« I portray a dance of signs. »
Sandro Lazier is an experienced Italian artist who has exhibited his works throughout the country. Using traditional techniques and rigid supports, he composes paintings made up of coloured fields behind apparently random signs and geometries. Like music or dance, these signs express aesthetic value without resorting to meaning. Contrary to being nonsense, however, the whole composition has a profound aesthetic sense.
