About this artwork
One of Sandy's biggest and most enduring inspirations are the later works of Claude Monet.
She has made many paintings celebrating her love for these large, thoughtful, intensely coloured and altogether life affirming pieces of art.
She loves to work with her canvas on the floor initially to build up many layers of watercolour like acrylic paints. Once the bare bones and structure of the painting is in place, she adds lots more subtle colour and… work swith lots of different brushes, rags, palette knives to add colour and and different types of marks to the paint surface.
This 120x180cm canvas has white painted edges, is unframed, and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
You will also receive a collection of twelve postcards of my artwork as a thank-you for choosing one of my artworks!
