About this artwork
Living fairly close to Camber Sands on England's south coast is a source of inspiration and happiness! Sandy visits this large sand dune backed beach all year round, She loves the skies, sea and grasses which are all part of this coastline.
This painting is also inspired by colour, and by invoking a feeling of lightness and joy through interpreting her world.
Sandy uses beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and… a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.
This 100x100cm landscape painting is unframed. It has white painted edges, and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
