Sandy is inspired by the natural world, and spends time painting every year in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. It's a beautiful landscape, with soft gentle light and a dramatic coastline.
This small painting depicts the coastpath in the summertime, and evokes holidays, a warm sun, soft breeze and blues greens and yellows which typify this part of the world.
Sandy uses beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large… variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.
This 30x30cm landscape painting is unframed. It has white painted edges, and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
