About this artwork
The scenes often takes its starting in departure in the everyday life of people in urban spaces, in the big city. The scenes are taken directly out of the city pulse – it can be Copenhagen, London, Paris or perhaps New York. I love to play with light and shadows in my paintings. My painting technique is the old classic method with layers, with modern expression.
The shape is tightened up and meets with rounded and harmonious colors, which gives a… calm and order to the image surface, and opens up for a complete focus on the simple main elements of the motifs. Sharpness and accuracy, collide with the sensuality and dynamics of the painting.
