About this artwork
I must be like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde with my canvas art: I draw sweet and colorful little birds, but also these images full of fury.
Anyway! I believe life is packed with sharp contrasts and it's good to appreciate them all (the beauty and the ugliness), and not closing our eyes to those we don't like.
We live on a planet that is falling apart.
Overpopulated, with extreme levels of inequality, polluted, overheated and screwed by human practices… (intensive fishing and farming, fossil fuels, consumerism, etc.) that do nothing but multiply exponentially the problem, while the three usual glutton madmen fill their pockets without logic or morality.
Nobody knows what may happen in the next few years, or where all this nonsense is going to take us, but here we are all stuck in this numbing childish parade, living life pretending that nothing happens and doing business as usual while buying the last Kardashian's useless crap.
