of the 'scold's bridle'- a historical iron muzzle used to publicly punish and silence women. By masking this instrument of oppression as a beautiful creature, I wanted to investigate the subtle, sugar-coated ways society continues to suspend and control the female voice. It is a visual meditation on enforced silence, decorative violence, and the enduring struggle for autonomy.
