About this artwork
This portrait represents the soul of the industrial sites photographed in the Lightground series. These sites are abandoned, uninhabited, they have acquired new aesthetic details thanks to the time that has passed without anyone taking care of them ... Anyone who is in their presence is free to imagine lives passing through them while apparently there is no one. The artist imagined the life of a soul that finds space in these places to laze, to explore…
... A soul that lives in total symbiosis with these places, using recycled materials found inside to create its own nest .

Sarah Binotto is a photographer based in Italy whose works have been exhibited both nationally and in Spain.
