About this artwork
This is a gestural painting of Albert Einstein that I made as a demo for my class. It is an example of an underpainting that is loose and raw. Normally, I will develop a work further, but I liked this state the way it was because it seemed more abstract and gripping. I emphasize how the face is composed of geometric planes.
