About this artwork
This piece is part of the Space and Balance Series, made using hand made oil paints with repurposed and earth pigments processed and made into paint in the studio. This work is made using mud rock picked up from the beach on the Jurassic coast of England just before it was washed out to sea. Each piece is both in a sense capturing a moment in time, and about creating a sense of balance within the context of cyclic time. It is painted on gesso on…
Indian cotton rag paper, and varnished with a UV protective varnish.
