About this artwork
In this work, the artist Sarrés' intention is to make a representation of that transition between the earthly and the afterlife, depicting two human figures welcomed in a kind of purgatory in the form of a space full of warmth and tranquility awaiting a new beginning.
As always, Sarrés incorporates these vegetal and forest forms in many of his works and in this case it could not be less, mixing these trees with a series of hands that accompany these… two figures in that transition between life and death.
