Creating this piece, I sought to harness the vibrant energy and dynamic motion of the cosmos, guided by innate cosmic mysticism. Each angular shape and carefully chosen color bursts from a central point like a star exploding into a supernova. Made with wood… and painted with latex, this sculpture embodies a fluid yet structured chaos, reflecting the beautiful, unpredictable nature of the universe. It brings a spirited, refreshing ambiance to any room, evoking awe and wonder just as the night sky does.

Sassoon Kosian, an award-winning Armenian painter and sculptor, has exhibited throughout the United States. His art relates to the human experience with particular emphasis on experiences that forge us into better people. Kosian begins his artistic process by visualizing the concept through digital blueprints. After having been thoroughly planned out, they make their way onto canvas through acrylics. His sculptural process is more spontaneous and the pieces are imbued with architectonic qualities.
