The nude drawings in this series were originally created as studies for my larger compositions. Once a week, I work with a model to explore the human body—its form, movement, and tension. I draw with charcoal on paper: directly, spontaneously, exploratively. These studies often develop into independent drawings with emotional depth and expressiveness.
