About this artwork

In creating this piece, I delved into an explorative mix of acrylic, collage, and oil pastel, weaving abstract and pop art elements into a dynamic tapestry. I aimed to challenge perceptions and awaken emotions through stark contrasts and vibrant interplays of colour and form. This artwork is an energetic dialogue of visual ideas, meant to captivate and energize any space, with psycho-geographical references to Great Britain.

Sean Bw Parker (MA) is a British artist, writer and musician specialising in art, cultural theory and justice reform. After gaining a Masters degree in Fine Art from the University for the Creative Arts in 2003 he lived and worked in Istanbul for ten years, has published books and articles, released albums, performed at or curated festivals, given a TED talk, had paintings displayed at London’s South Bank and other exhibitions, and won a number of awards. He was born in Exeter in 1975 and currently lives on the West Sussex coast.
