About this artwork
This was the 2nd part of the commission, to catch an action image of a skier descending in the moguls. The snap action is akin to Duchamp's Nude Descending a Staircase, but a little more figurative.

Sean Plumb is an accomplished painter and visual artist with deep roots in both art and music, working dynamically with oils, acrylics, mixed media, and watercolors. His techniques range from pouring and splattering paint in a style reminiscent of Pollock, to rich cubistic textures, 3D canvas constructions, and delicate miniature watercolors. Plumb’s art radiates energy, layered depth, and a tactile interplay of color and material, inviting viewers into a vibrant, emotionally immersive experience that celebrates texture, movement, and the joy of creation.
