About this artwork
Inspired by a longing to see awe inspiring landscapes and descriptions from literature. This was inspired by the work of JRR Tolkien, the author of the Lord of the Rings. In particular, Tolkien describes the Misty Mountains very vividly - and in creating this, the hope was to capture the beauty and peril of the mountain range.
