About this artwork
A fragment of highly concentrated energy. That's what makes up this painting, in my opinion. When the temperatures become milder and we start to approach 20 degrees Celsius, my worst enemies also arrive: flies. Along with mosquitoes, they are the only creatures toward which I show no mercy. A magazine, a slipper, or a plastic fly swatter are used to crush these abominations into a thousand pieces. While I was creating this painting, I was thinking…
that the palette looks a bit like the smear left on the glass after a free kick.
