Nature is inherently formative and creative. If one photographs these already formed things, photography is, in comparison, a "second creation." Second creation gives the dead, fallen thing a second life, bringing it back with a tangible energy that carries life within it. My style of photography aims at cognitive seeing and vivid insight. It reveals the essence of the thing. The compelling question is: "Do things extend beyond themselves? Do they… reveal their very essence through their given representation, or are they merely artifacts of our perception, or do they only come into being through it?"
The photograph comes with a 3mm mount and frame (real oak frame / magnetic frame from Halbe) and museum glass - all included in the price.
Sebastian Fink, a self-taught photographer from Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, uses 35mm digital photography as his medium. With perfectionism and natural sidelight, he creates clear image repetitions, refined by focus stacking techniques. Fink's works exude a profound presence and reveal the essence of things, whether landscapes or everyday objects, conveying a sense of second creation.
