About this artwork

In crafting this sculpture, I aimed to capture the fluid, ever-changing essence of water. The sinuous form of the bronze/brass, rising and twisting like a wave, contrasts with the solid, grounding marble base. It reflects the paradox of movement within permanence, an homage to nature's dance between the ephemeral and the eternal. This piece invites contemplation and serenity, infusing any space with the dynamic balance of nature's poetry.

Seda Eyüboğlu is a sculptor based in Istanbul, Türkiye whose works have been exhibited nationally and in various European countries susch as Italy, Germany. In her abstract and figurative pieces, she fuses emotion with the organic nature of clay. Eyüboğlu employs varying techniques that focus on texture, light, and the balance of shadows to create a sense of harmony comprised of "full and empty concepts, as well as an asymmetric rhythm within the symmetry".

Her works are exhibited in art fairs nationally and in different countries.
