About this artwork
In creating this piece, I wanted to capture the essence of memory and time's passage—how moments and figures become enmeshed in the fabric of our stories. Melded from bronze, with marble touches and shaped from clay, this sculpture is alive with emotion, an enduring presence convoking reflection. Each angle offers a new narrative, urging the onlooker to ponder the intertwining of life's fragility and strength within its freestanding form.

Seda Eyüboğlu is a sculptor based in Istanbul, Türkiye whose works have been exhibited nationally and in various European countries susch as Italy, Germany. In her abstract and figurative pieces, she fuses emotion with the organic nature of clay. Eyüboğlu employs varying techniques that focus on texture, light, and the balance of shadows to create a sense of harmony comprised of "full and empty concepts, as well as an asymmetric rhythm within the symmetry".
