Russian painter Sergei Kiyanitsa has been exhibited throughout Russia and France. Working in an impressionist style, Kiyanitsa mainly uses oil on canvas, and sometimes incorporates other materials, such as wood, metals and even everyday objects. Kiyanitsa's subjects range from cityscapes to portraits to nudes- each of his works showcase an impressive contrast of light and dark, as well as a textured palette of subdued colors.
