Sergei Safaev is a painter and sculptor based in Russia whose works have been exhibited nationally. Principally inspired by nature, his abstract objects are extensions of his self-expression and are created using varied materials which include metal frames and concrete. However, in his vibrant painterly compositions, Safaev emloys a relief that is based on paper-mâché with acrylics on paper.
