« In 2004, after a trip to Italy, on the island of Ischia and Naples, the seascape became my main genre. »

I was born on November 22, 1967, in the mining town of Anzhero-Sudzhensk in the Kemerovo Region. From 1980 to 1984, I studied at the Children's Art School No. 1 in Shakhty, Rostov Oblast. At the same time, I was involved in several extracurricular activities at high school, including shipbuilding, handicrafts, mining engineering, and space exploration. In 1988, I enrolled in the M.B. Grekov Russian Art School, where I was exposed to the workshops of the Union of Artists of Russia. I learned woodcarving and metal engraving long before the official curriculum. For six years, I taught at a school, worked as an interior designer, and engaged in printing and photography. I also worked as a photographer and portraitist on the beaches of the Azov and Black Seas. From 1998 to 2002, I painted seascapes for exhibitions and galleries in Rostov, Moscow, and other cities.
