About this artwork
This work is part of a research that was born from the desire to create an important exhibition on Giacomo Leopardi entitled "LEOPARDIAN MUMMIES

Sergio Carlacchiani uses painting, performance, found objects, voice, and body, drawing on an interdisciplinary background that also includes theater, poetry, filmmaking, and fashion design. He experiments with mixed media, dripping, and vibrant and metallic colors on cardboard, wood, and hardboard, challenging imposing materials like fire and large formats. His style is personal, engaging, powerful, and orderly, never chaotic or indistinct.
