The figure exists only as a vessel — a conduit for something that can't be painted, only felt. The subject dissolves into the gesture itself: thick black strokes that drip and tear across the canvas, not describing a body so much as releasing one.
The yellow cuts through like electricity — raw, almost aggressive, scrawled as if the canvas fought back. It doesn't decorate. It disrupts.
