About this artwork
In a semi-abstract way, it shows a heart that begins to form within a thought that descends from above.
Conceptually, consistent with my artistic biography, I seek to convey that the beginning of life could have been, not by chance, but by the thought of a creator.
Technically, it was painted on a very thin canvas adhered to a similarly thin plexiglass structure. It was then worked using my particular acrylic technique and sanded. The finished… painting has a mixed appearance, somewhere between modern and rustic.
