About this artwork
The shadows of dense trees.
The blue sky peeking through them.
They reflected upon the surface of a deep, heavy pond whose depth was impossible to gauge.
A fishy smell, like small fish mixed with mud.
The pungent grass scent from the blades crushed beneath my footsteps.
They enveloped me as I sat deep in thought.
They made me recall my slightly dark past, which had never even existed.
So the lotus leaves floating lightly on the surface looked unbelievably… refreshing.
