About this artwork
I sometimes travel from place to place to overcome tough times.
The nature I met there calms my sharpened heart and comforts me.
It was after a lot of time that I found stability in nature.
Born in the countryside as a child, nature was just a place of hard work, a place of daily living, and there was no way to feel comfortable and beautiful.
As time went by, I went to college and wandered around many cities, and I became more and more familiar with… the city in busy days.
While I was so busy, I suffered from a mysterious mental illness, I became far from painting and avoided people.
Around that time, my whole mind was just that I wanted to get out of this stuffy place.
I could feel comfortable in my hometown where I came back.
I'm taking a walk for a while again today.
I drink the scent of nature and head back to the studio with a swollen heart.
