About this artwork
After a long period of pausing and making videos, I went back to drawing pictures.
The recent period in Israel has been accompanied by disasters, political incitement, breaking delicate frameworks of cooperation and fraternity built with great effort by Jews and Arabs.
I expressed in the painting my feelings - confusion and lack of direction, with the help of various contrasts, tiny and large figures, monstrous undefined landscape objects, disharmony… in colors and their matching,
Also blur and lack of brightness, bright and warm colors, and dark and cold colors.
All this to create a sense of confusion, hopelessness and frustration.
This is a very large painting, designed mostly with the help of a thick brush with limited use of spatula,
On a plywood board with a thin plywood frame.
