Sharon Pierce McCullough is a multidisciplinary artist working as a painter and sculptor. Her experimental practice includes abstract expressionism and geometric abstraction, often in series. Her use of vivid colors is one of the most striking elements of her work, incorporating a thread of “fun”. She works spontaneously and intuitively, exploring the relationship of positive and negative space, color and form. She is an internationally recognized artist and author/illustrator of over 30 children's books.
