About this artwork

One morning during a trip to Baja del Sur, the sunrise had stained everything pink. The sky, water, and sand stretching out in front of me like some limitless moment of eternity.

This painting has layers upon layers of paint, and took me months to complete. I only used resin for the sea foam and a few highlights.

Sheila Lemons, a globally influenced artist and San Francisco Art Institute graduate, expresses herself through painting and photography.
