About this artwork
This series entitled ‘Apparent addresses nature (I include myself in this), and the drawing of natural forms after they have been imaged by modern technology. In the case of this series, I take X- rays which I invert, then I pick up my pencil. Lines are traced, retraced, erased and observed over the course of the days, weeks or months it takes to create the drawings.
