About this artwork
In my work, I played with watercolor to capture the dynamic contrast between light and shadow, combining deep grays with touches of bright yellow. The impressionistic approach allowed me to express not only a visual scene but also the floating emotion of the moment. This painting evokes reflection and serenity, bringing a sense of calm and emotional depth to the home.

"My art is born from an inner need, from a deep need to express what words cannot tell. For me, painting is an act of presence, of truth: a sacred, suspended moment, in which time stops.
I work instinctively and immediately. I love to stay on the border between the visible and the invisible, between form and intuition, welcoming the unexpected. I am inspired by oriental painting, especially Japanese: there I found a philosophy of gesture that I feel is deeply mine. Every sign is essential, every empty space has a meaning and speaks.
For me, art is an encounter, not only with the material, but also with the observer. Each painting is a threshold, an invitation to feel, to get lost in silence and find yourself in a space of freedom.” www.shirinarte.com
