About this artwork
This piece began as a reflection on how we move through the digital world—fragmented, layered, and constantly shifting between realities.
I combined elements of everyday life—screens, devices, and fleeting moments—with the natural symbol of the turtle, representing patience, grounding, and continuity. The contrast between the chaotic overlays and the calm, steady presence of the turtle is intentional. It mirrors the tension I feel between speed… and stillness, noise and clarity.
Working in an impressionistic style with touches of realism, I allowed forms to emerge and dissolve into one another, much like how we experience information today—never in a straight line, but in overlapping fragments. The composition is meant to feel slightly disorienting at first, then slowly reveal moments of familiarity as your eye settles.
For me, this painting is about navigating modern life while holding onto something timeless and steady beneath it all.
