About this artwork
The focus of the oil painting on cardboard is a mythical creature with human and animal features. The viewer sees a fantastic, inhospitable green-brown landscape with a tree-like rock on which this mythical creature sits. Immediately a bird is about to land. The painting has a one-off model frame with continuous gilding. The painting is dated and signed on the front and back. It is the first oil painting (catalog raisonné 1959 | 01) that Siegbert…
Hahn painted with the oil paints of his twin brother Siegmund Hahn.
