About this artwork
In this still life the asparagus has the main role. The asparagus spears lie on a sand-colored stone block against a brown-black background. The simple background emphasizes the realistic representation of the 12 stalks of asparagus. The asparagus was painted in its original size. The painting has a custom-made model frame.
