About this artwork
It's like meditation. I'm looking at the empty space of a square, which I'm drawing in pencil in my sketchbook. My thoughts flow, and a spatial concept develops. I begin to suggest a curve with my designer pens by arranging four colored areas in the shades of yellow, blue, and black, red, and blue again. I then transfer the design to the torchon paper as a watercolor. I create the "wire ropes" with a silver glitter pen. The result is a significantly enhanced spatial effect.
