About this artwork
I'm always fascinated by the simple geometry of the square. If you divide this shape somehow, what new forms will emerge?
Triangulation is a technical process that uses a triangle to deflect a laser beam, for example, to enable height measurements, subject to the condition "angle of incidence = angle of reflection." I remembered this process after constructing the image in my sketchbook. Depending on how you look at it, you either see pyramids stacked… one behind the other or something like folded strips. What do you see?
By the way, '0.3' in the title means 0.3m edge length of this image.
