About this artwork
In my watercolor I passionately created a world of colors and emotions. The flowing transitions and soft contours convey a feeling of freedom and untamedness. The powerful yellow presence brings the canvas to life and brings energy and optimism into the room. This work of art is a mirror of my soul and at the same time expresses a deep longing for light and warmth.

« A painter can turn the sun into a yellow spot, but thanks to their art and intelligence, they can also conjure up a sun from a yellow spot. »
Sigrid Koerner is an experienced artist based in Germany whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally and in France. She cites her educational background in natural sciences as having made her sensitive towards nature, its laws and creativity, which uses simple principles to produce diversity, opulence and abundance. For Koerner, plants and flowers are expressions of human emotions, as well as symbols of life and proof of love, "a maximum of beauty and perfection".
